The Massachusetts Regional Caring Science Consortium 2024 Spring and Fall virtual programs offer a two-part virtual series on Nurses as Change Makers. The MRCSC Spring Program focused on Nurses as Change Makers, Part 1— Four Essential Practices for Healing Self. This program addressed the need for nurses to attend to their own healing processes in preparation for caring for others. The Massachusetts Regional Caring Science Consortium (MRCSC) is a local grass-roots forum, that emerged from the Watson Caring Science Institute’s International Caritas Consortium (ICC) to increase opportunities in exploring the philosophy, ethic, and practices of Caring Science in the Massachusetts and New England area. After the suspension of in-person meetings during the pandemic, MRCSC has been organizing bi-annual web-based programs that are open to those interested in Caring Science, world-wide.
