Caring Moments in Action, Part 2– Healing Compassionate Transpersonal Presence in Practice Settings

The New England Regional Caring Science Consortium (NERCSC) theme for 2025 is Caring Moments in Action. The April 2025 Program – Part 1, focused on Healing-Compassionate Presence with Self. The upcoming Fall 2025 program will present Part 2, Healing Compassionate Transpersonal Presence in Practice Settings. This program will explore transpersonal compassionate daily caring moments in clinical and nursing education settings. This program will be on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm ET.

The program will explore Caritas Coach projects that illustrate Caring Moments in Action and their healing outcomes in various nursing practice settings of acute care, ambulatory care, and educational settings. These exemplars will offer practical ideas for participants for use in their own practice. There will be time for discussion with the speakers.

There is no fee to attend this program, but registration is required. Registrants will receive the program Zoom link at the email address they listed during registration. The link information will be sent again the day before the program. Registration for the October program will close on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025. Nurses, students, and other healthcare professionals are invited to attend this meaningful program. Nursing Contact Hours (1.5) will be applied for.

About NERCSC

The New England Regional Caring Science Consortium (NERCSC) is a local grass-roots forum, that emerged from the Watson Caring Science Institute’s International Caritas Consortium (ICC) to increase opportunities in exploring the philosophy, ethic, and practices of Caring Science in the New England area. After the suspension of in-person meetings during the pandemic, NERCSC has been organizing bi-annual web-based programs that are open to those interested in Caring Science, world-wide.

Most Recent Consortium Program

The NERCSC/MRCSC 2025 Programs were a two-part series on Caring Moments in Action. The Spring program, Part 1—Healing-Compassionate Presence with Self, was on April 8, 2025. It explored the important practice of cultivating caring moments of compassionate presence with self in healing and renewing ways. The Fall part of the Caring Moments in Action.
